Carrots

I had the good fortune to meet Colleen Helme and her husband in NYC while she was working on LACED IN LIES, book 10 of the Shelby Nichols Adventures.  We met at the top of the Empire State Building during a fog event that prevented us from seeing... well... anything!  But we just laughed.  We had just met for the first time face to face. 

CARROTS (Book 1) was released in Spring 2013 and was my first commercial audiobook.  I had narrated 30 non-commercial books for the blind but CARROTS was the first audiobook that I produced for Audible ACX.  I could not have been luckier than to pair up with Colleen!  Book after book, Shelby and her crew make me laugh so it was no surprise how much Colleen and I spent laughing during our time together in NYC.

If you're not familiar with Shelby... in Book 1, she sets out to the grocery store on a rainy night to get CARROTS for her chicken soup.  A robbery goes bad while she's standing in the checkout line and a bullet grazes her head.  After that......... she can read minds.  Throw in a mobster, a loving husband, 2 teenage children and a devilishly good looking motorcycle-driving hit man and you have a wild ride of cozy mystery adventure.
